OH&S POLICY STATEMENT

  • Identifying and reducing the risks of all types of work activities that have the potential to produce personal injury or occupational illness.
    • Providing instruction, training and supervision to improve individual’s understanding of workplace hazards, including safe work practices and emergency procedures.
    • Involving individuals in O.H.&S. matters and consulting with them on ways to recognise, evaluate and control workplace hazards.
    • Ensuring that everyone (including visitors and contractors) complies with appropriate standards and workplace directions to protect their own and others health and safety at work.
    • Providing adequate systems and resources to effectively manage rehabilitation and return to work processes.

MLJGroup will implement and maintain an ongoing O.H.&S. Program, including conducting regular inspections of the workplace aimed at preventing accidents and incidents.

All managers and supervisors are responsible and accountable for the safety of employees, contractors and company property under their control. Managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring all regulations, procedures and safe work practices are followed at all times.

All employees are expected to:

  • Follow all company safety requirements and relevant codes of practice
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
    • Report all injuries and safety incidents
    • Actively participate in safety improvement activities.

It is the Policy of MLJ Group to provide services that fully satisfy the requirements of our customers. This policy defines the commitment to quality throughout the organisation

  • Recognise that quality can only be defined by the customer, so our focus must be on the needs of our customers as each and every one of us carries out our work.
  • Provide a customer focussed service at all times, to maximize customer satisfaction that uses resources as efficiently and effectively as possible at minimal cost.
  • Measure our customer satisfaction and strive to satisfy our customers requirements by continually reducing the difference between what they need and what we provide.
  • Adhere to the procedures and instructions in our quality system.
  • Do things right first time and every time by continually improving on the effectiveness of our quality system and our staff and abide by all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and safety requirements.
  • Work as a team to prevent problems from occurring thus ensuring that the products and services we supply to our customers are dependable and predictable.
  • Establish long term relationships with our subcontractors so that we can help them supply services and products that meet our customer’s requirements and expectations.
  • Make use of information based on reliable data to set performance targets, measure our performance against those targets and then work to reduce the variation about the targets.
    This policy shall be made known to and understood and practiced by all our staff. It shall be reviewed as part of the management review procedures and the Quality Management system will be audited on a regular basis to ensure its continued effectiveness. This policy is provided and explained to each employee by the General Manager or Quality Manager.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY STATEMENT

MLJ Group and its sub contractors are committed to efficiently protecting the environment during all the phases of Lancomm’s construction activities regardless of their size, duration, location and level of complexity and geographic locations of work sites.

In order to comply with this commitment, MLJ GROUP will apply this Environmental Protection Policy, which includes basic and specific requirements and environmental programmes during construction activities as well as applicable legislation, rules and regulations.

We recognise the importance of well planned environmental protection measures aiming at minimising health risks activities (if any) on human beings, wild life and vegetation etc.

We will maintain and establish effective plans and systems as reasonably practicable by controlling the risks as far as reasonably practicable.

We will as far as possible reasonably practicable protect the environment, minimize the waste and seek improvements in managing and disposing of waste in an approved manner.

We will practice waste management at all times and will comply with laws of the land.

We distribute copies of this Environmental policy to the employees as well as the sub contractors of MLJ Group.

We will apply effective measures to ensure that all wastes shall be recorded, monitored and disposed off in an approved manner.

Our mission is to improve the control of waste generation, transportation and disposal practices.
